CFC Goals for 2020
In case you missed it….
This past Sunday we went over a few of our main goals as a church in 2020: pray more diligently, read the Word, and specifically work on theological training.

So, here are some things we are doing to start the year off right.
Prayer: We want to hear your specific prayers for Cross Fellowship Church. Then we are going to compile them all and use them as a prayer guide for the year and see how God works. If you were not here on Sunday, you can write down your prayers here:

Bible reading: We wanted to do a plan that would create a hunger for more Bible reading. So, we are starting with just a month-long plan that goes through the major story of the Bible. 28 readings for January, which has 31 days. So you get some days off!

Theology: Finally, we are going to create book clubs for men and women in theological training. We will just use online forums for posting questions and thoughts as you go along. We might have other things we will offer along the way as well, but these books will be our core training for the Spring semester. If you want to go ahead and get copies or even get to reading, have at it. We’ll have more instructions soon.

Our prayer is that 2020 will be a major milestone for our church. We have gone through quite the change over 2019, and I believe God has given us a great foundation for the future. We also want to remind everyone that one of the most significant things about being a part of a church family is presence, so please make every effort to be there on Sunday mornings this year. Maybe even schedule vacations where it doesn’t interfere with worship. We are so excited about what God is doing in our midst. Don’t forget the annual member’s meeting lunch on Sunday, January 19 after the morning service.
To the praise of His glorious grace,
